Anywhere

I can‘t see you from my window
You seem miles and miles away
I can see no sign of life here
As the hours turn to days

I haven‘t seen you in a long time
I wonder if you‘re still out there
And if you look out of your window
Do you see me anywhere?

This is the first song of my upcoming quarantine album.

The video was shot and hand-drawn by Véronique Kolber (a.k.a. my wife). She did an incredible job, drawing some 2.500 images.

The Long Lost Art Of Getting Lost is a DIY album, recorded by Daniel Balthasar in a big cardboard box during the quarantine of 2020 caused by the Covid-19 virus.

These are 10 short songs, one per day, written, recorded and mixed in an estimate of 2 to 3 hours. It’s a musical diary of a strange period in everybody’s life.

Daniel Balthasar: all instruments and vocals, except piano at the end by Noah Balthasar
