Anywhere

I can‘t see you from my window
You seem miles and miles away
I can see no sign of life here
As the hours turn to days

I haven‘t seen you in a long time
I wonder if you‘re still out there
And if you look out of your window
Do you see me anywhere?

Stability

Everything is fine in here
Everything is fine in here
All the trouble stays outside
My fears erased from my mind

Everything is fine in here
Everything is fine in here
All my sorrows washed away
Every night leads to a day

I need safety, I need time
I made walls to call them mine
I need reasons to go on
After all reasons have gone

Everything is fine in here
Everything is fine in here
Not a dark spot on my mind
Stability has made me blind

Get out more often

You should get out more often
Get out of your bed
You should get out more often
You seem lost in your head
You are turning in circles
Draw a straight line instead
You should get out more often

Should I worry or are you okay
Are you fine or are you losing your way
Does it get better day after day
Or are you wishing yourself away

This day feels like an alternate yesterday
Nothing changed except the food on my plate
And the sunshine looks a little more gray

Door

You said the world would turn no more
I asked how could you be so sure
You said there are no planes in the sky
And there are no cars passing by

And I get what you say
I don’t need the world to stop to feel this way

You said the world would turn no more
Since then I‘m waiting at the door
And I don’t mind if it takes long
I wait until I prove you wrong

And I get what you say
I don’t need the world to stop to feel this way

You said the world would turn no more
Since then I‘m waiting at the door

Monotone

Wake up from sleep
Go catch some light
Breath in some fresh air
Go back inside

Put on TV
Don’t watch the news
Look on the list
Of things to do

Is this a dream
Or is this real
Or did I lose my
Ability to feel

How will it end

I have so many questions
That I don’t understand
And maybe no one can answer
How can I trust you again
Do you feel like a ghost
But what I ask me the most
how will it end

I have so many questions
How to breathe freely again
If we’re all on the same ship
When will be sailing again
Will there be a tomorrow
Is hope something that you can borrow
And how will it end

Safe

I need you to be safe
I need you to stay calm
I need to know you’re somewhere
away from harm

You need me to be safe
You need me to come home
You need a steady rock but
I am nothing like a stone

I wish I knew back then
What I know today
The more I want to be with you
The more I stay away

Lucky

Since they‘ve locked us up
And threw away the key
Since we left the world outside
I can see

And if there is no tomorrow
I wouldn’t dare to be sad
Of all the days that you gave me
There’s not one I regret

I‘m so lucky to have you
When everything fails
I‘m so lucky to have you
When everyone bails on us

Since we left the world at the front door
And day by day I will need you a little bit more

And if there’s no tomorrow
I wouldn’t dare to be sad
The days I had you for me where the best
That I had

I‘m so lucky to have you
When everything fails
I‘m so lucky to have you
When everyone bails on us

What do I learn from this

What do I learn from this
What do I take away

How will I remember this
And what is here to stay

Where do I go from here
Is there a better way

Any day now

I will see you from my window
On a day not far away
You will walk up on my doorstep
And I hope that you will stay

I haven’t seen you in a long time
But it feels like yesterday
And we look out of my window
As the hours fade away
